A warm welcome and greetings from the Himalayas!

Himalaya Travel Adventures is a Kathmandu based travel, trekking and outdoor company. We specialize in trekking/hiking trips, peak climbing, mountaineering expeditions, safari’s and biking/rafting/four-wheel drive tours. We offer trips of a lifetime in the Indian subcontinent: Nepal, Tibet, India and Bhutan.

For decades, we have been providing the best handpicked walking- and cultural tours in the Himalayas. We would like to call ourselves the Adventure Specialists in this region. With experience of living both in Asia and Europe, we have come to know the importance of cultural variety.

In one sentence, we would like to see travelling as a philosophy: the world in which we live has so much to offer and yet so little time to venture out and explore.

Let’s go on an adventure to the Himalayas!

Lana Donse (yoga teacher and therapist)

Lana (www.yogalana.com) is a yoga teacher and therapist. She is part of the Yoga Trekking Nepal team. Her purpose is to guide other people in their process of finding harmony and freedom in their life. She teaches hatha and yin-yang classes and offers individual yoga therapy programmes, in addition to her job as a psychologist. Lana is also very passionate about travelling, writing and nature.
Sahadev and Lana met in 2014, when Lana travelled to Nepal for the Langtang-Gosainkunda-Helambu trekking.
After this 11-day adventure, they kept in touch when Lana returned home. In the meantime, Sahadev completed his master’s studies in Culture and Lana graduated as a psychologist.  She was inspired to do a yoga teacher training and started working as a yoga teacher and therapist. After a while, the idea came up to combine the best of both worlds: a trekking adventure and the healing power of yoga.
So now we are organizing a Yoga Trekking in the Himalayas each year! We would be happy to welcome you to the story as well.
