Mera Peak Summit trek is a wonderful trekking destination in Makalu Barun National Park lies in the north eastern Himalayan region of Nepal adjacent to Sagarmatha National Park , Only protected area on earth with an altitude gain of 8000m from the low tropical forests along the Arun valley to the lofty ,icy mountain summits .Mera Peak Summit is the easy straightforward climb to one of the 6000 highest peak of the world .The trek start from the short verdant flight to Lukla where most of the trekker start a classical Everest trek following the Hillary footsteps ,whereas we trek down to dudhkoshi river to commence.
Day 01: Kathmandu arrival and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing and summit trek permit preparation
Day 03: Drive from KTM to Everest view point Patale Dhap (2900m) to Sotnag Shivatar (1500m) 12 – 15 hours
(OR Flight from KTM to Phaplu (2350m) and Drive to Sotang Shivatar (1500m) 5-6 hours)
Day 04: Trek to Khiraule Gompa (2600m) 4-5 hours
Day 05: Trek to Cholem Kharka (3600m) 4-5 hours
(If you have more time add extra day for rest but not compulsory)
Day 06: Trek to Panch Pokhari / Five Lake (4200m) 5-6 hours
Day 07: Trek to Kothe (3550m) 4-5 hours
Day 08: Trek to Thangnak (4350m) 4-5hours, O2xygen Lodge
Day 09: Trek to Khare (5000m) 3-4 hours, Refuge Mera Lodge
Day 10: Rest and Acclimatization day at Khare
(If you have more time add extra day to stay at Mera Base Camp, 5350m but not compulsory)
Day 11: Trek to Mera High Camp (5800m) 5-6 hours
Day 12: Summit Mera Peak (6470m) and Back to Khare, 8-10 hours
Day 13: Trek down to Kothe (3550m) 4-5 hours
Day 14: Trek to Thulikharka (4200m) 5-6 hours
Day 15: Trek to Lukla (2800m) 5-6 hours
Day 16: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 17: Reserve / Kathmandu Sightseeing
Day 18: Fly back

02. What if I have never been trekking before?
Himalaya Travel Adventures are appropriate for beginners / Experienced one. It is expected that you should be in good physical shape prior to the trek / expedition,
that you maintain a regular exercise routine or Jogging, and that you are able to walk 5-7 hours per day for most days during trek .
03. How about Mountain Sickness during the trek ?
We have tried our best in itinerary for the pacing and progression to altitude adjustment during high altitude treks.
We ( Our guide ) closely monitor the effects of altitude on our clients/ trekkers, and in case of sickness, we can move you quickly to a lower altitude .
04. What if I need medical assistance at some point during the trip?
In the mountain we are not sure what will happen but we try our best good things to happen .
In case of emergency, our staff is well trained and know how to facilitate medical treatment and emergency transport.
05. If I cancel my trip can I get a refund?
Yes , Only 10 % is charged and other get refunded while 2 week priors to depart will be charged 25% .
