Tsum valley Trek- Sacred Himalaya Buddhist Heritage trail is an adventures trail in Nepal. It has a rich culture and values. The people of Tsum Valley call themselves Tsumbas; belong to Tibetan origin with their own ancient form of dialect, art, culture, and religion. It has a long history of trade which still holds the living hood of people, culture, and Buddhist philosophy in their every step of life. It has highly regarded as one of the Buddhist Pilgrimage routes due to astounding facts and striking locations itself.
This route has been open for tourism in the year 2007. The trails curve past square Chortens and walls of stones hand-carved with Buddhist prayers. This trek offers the mighty holy mountain view likes Himalchuli (7,893 m), Ganesh Himal (7,140 m), Shringi Himal, Pika Himal (4865m), Churke himal (6,224 m), and a mesmerizing glimpse of Poshyop Glacier.
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to hotel
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing – Visit to Swaymbhunath , Boudhanath and Kopan Monastery !
Day 3: Kathmandu – Arugath Bazar (550 m, 1805 ft) – Soti Khola (700 m, 2296 ft) 7-8 hrs
Day 4: Soti Khola (700 m, 2296 ft) – Machhakhola (869 m, 2851 ft) 6 hours
Day 5: Machhakhola (869 m, 2851 ft) – Jagat (1340 m, 4396 ft) 7-8 hours
Day 6: Jagat (1340 m, 4396 ft) – Lokpa (2240 m, 7349 ft) 7 hrs
Day 7: Lokpa (2240 m, 7349 ft) – Chumling (2385 m, 7824 ft) 5 hrs
Day 8: Chumling (2385 m, 7824 ft) – Chhokang Paro (3031 m, 9944 ft) 4-5 hrs
Day 9: Chhokang Paro (3031 m, 9944 ft) – Nile (3361 m, 11026 ft) 6-7 hrs via Visit to Rachen Gompa and Gonhgye Gompa
Day 10: Nile (3361 m, 11026 ft) – Mu Gompa (3700 m, 12139 ft) and visit Dhephyudonma Gompa (4060 m) – Back to Nile (3361 m, 11026 ft) 8 hrs
Day 11: Nile (3361 m, 11026 ft) – Chhokang Paro (3031 m, 9944 ft) 5-6 hrs via Milarepa Piren Phu Cave
Day 12: Chhokang Paro (3031 m, 9944 ft) – Lokpa (2240 m, 7349 ft) 6 hrs
Day 13: Lokpa (2240 m, 7349 ft) – Jagat (1340 m, 4396 ft) 6-7 hrs
Day 14: Jagat (1340 m, 4396 ft) – Machhakhola (869 m, 2851 ft) 5-6 hrs
Day 15: Machhakhola (869 m, 2851 ft) – Soti Khola (700 m, 2296 ft) 3 hrs trekking, drive back to Kathmandu
Day 16: Morning visit to Asura Cave , Pharping – Free at Day
Day 17: Drive to Airport for Return flight

2.0 What if I have never been trekking before?
Himalaya Travel Adventures are appropriate for beginners / experienced one. It is expected that you should be in good physical shape prior to the trek / expedition,
that you maintain a regular exercise routine or Jogging, and that you are able to walk 5-7 hours per day for most days during trek .
3.0 How about Mountain Sickness during the trek?
We have tried our best in itinerary for the pacing and progression to altitude adjustment during high altitude treks.
We (Our guide) closely monitor the effects of altitude on our clients/ trekkers, and in case of sickness, we can move you quickly to a lower altitude.
4.0 What if I need medical assistance at some point during the trip?
In the mountain we are not sure what will happen but we try our best good things to happen.
In case of emergency, our staff is well trained and knows how to facilitate medical treatment and emergency transport.

Booking and payment
Booking and Cancellation policy
Upon booking, the participant is requested to pay a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total price. Once the participant has paid the deposit, the trip is confirmed, subject to payment of the balance of fees owing 60 days prior to your trip commencement date. The participant may then cancel his/her participation on the following basis:
Himalaya Travel Adventures reserves the right to change the travel dates, itinerary and programme. In case of cancellation of the trip by Himalaya Travel Adventures, the client will receive a full refund. However, we are not liable for any costs outside of our services. It is recommended to take cancellation insurance for these costs.
Travel
The arrangement and cost of travel are not included in your Tsum Valley – Sacred Himalaya Buddhistic Yoga & Meditation Retreat booking. It is your responsibility to make the necessary arrangements to reach Kathmandu airport and check what visas or health requirements may be applicable to you. Himalaya Travel Adventures are not responsible if you, or another passenger you are travelling with, do not have the necessary documentation for travel, nor are we responsible for any consequences arising from cancellations or delays in travel. Should issues with your travel affect your ability to attend Tsum Valley – Sacred Himalaya Buddhistic Yoga & Meditation Retreat the cancellation policy will apply (see above).
Insurance
We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance to come on Tsum Valley – Sacred Himalaya Buddhistic Yoga & Meditation Retreat. It is your responsibility to have travel insurance that covers yoga, trekking and any activities on Tsum Valley – Sacred Himalaya Buddhistic Yoga & Meditation Retreat that you may book as well as potential losses, damages, injuries, illness, cancellations and risks.
Health and safety
By signing the reservation form, the participant declares to be in good health and in a reasonable physical condition. Himalaya Travel Adventures are not liable for any accidents or injuries or damages to property during the trek. We highly recommend to take a travel insurance for the trip.
We are not liable for any traveling delay, strikes, lost baggage or damage to property of any kind. Insurances are not included in the price of the trek.
We are working with qualified guides and teachers who will make efforts to keep the client safe, however, the risk of injuries or accidents cannot be fully eliminated. We therefore recommend the following:
Before Tsum Valley – Sacred Himalaya Buddhistic Yoga & Meditation Retreat begins, we will be sending you an Attendee/Sign-In Form to gain a better understanding of your trekking experience and any health problems or medical conditions that we need to be made aware of.
Himalaya Travel Adventures reserves the right to advise you not to participate in activities at Tsum Valley – Sacred Himalaya Buddhistic Yoga & Meditation Retreat if you have any health problems or medical conditions that may be affected by them.
If you feel any discomfort, pain or suffer an injury during any of the activities at Tsum Valley – Sacred Himalaya Buddhistic Yoga & Meditation Retreat, you must stop as soon as possible and inform us. If you continue with the activity and there are chances of further worsening the injury, Himalaya Travel Adventures reserve the right to deny your stay and participation in Tsum Valley – Sacred Himalaya Buddhistic Yoga & Meditation Retreat, without refunding your retreat payment.
We need to be informed of any pregnancies. It is your responsibility to check with your doctor that you are fit to travel and capable of performing the activities we offer.
Himalaya Travel Adventures are not responsible for any illness, injuries or psychological conditions that you may have nor for any possible risks, illness, injuries or psychological conditions that you may develop during Tsum Valley – Sacred Himalaya Buddhistic Yoga & Meditation Retreat.
Complaints
In the unlikely event of any problems arising during Tsum Valley – Sacred Himalaya Buddhistic Yoga & Meditation Retreat, please inform us as soon as possible. We cannot be held responsible for the behaviour of individual members of the group but will do our very best to resolve any difficulties.
Unforeseen circumstances
Himalaya Travel Adventures do not accept any liability for cancellations, threat of war, or delays, changes caused by war, terrorist attacks or threats, industrial action, civil strife, strikes, closure of airports/ports, technical problems to transport, natural disaster, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your circumstances or other events beyond our control.

Please be assured that any information you share with us will be kept in the strictest confidence and not passed on to any third parties. Himalaya Travel Adventures do not share any registers, records or share any personal or banking data.
